FAYE: AN EVENTED SERVER-SIDE APP
James Coglan: Faye: an Evented Server-Side App With Node.js gaining in popularity, it's becoming easier than ever to write scalable web apps using tools we already know and understand. To really take advantage of this platform, you need to take an event-driven approach to constructing your applications: this makes them friendlier to your CPU, and has the added benefit of keeping your codebase maintainable. In this talk James will present Faye, an implementation of the Bayeux messaging protocol for Node and Ruby.
