AIRED OUT, a staged reading of a provocative new play by Lenny Pinna February 8, 2009

AIRED OUT by Lenny Pinna is a previously unproduced new play, although it was written 18 years ago, and seemingly ahead of its time. Set on Long Island, during the time of Bush I/Persian Gulf war/1991 economic recession, this tragicomedy examines the lives of a diverse group of transients who all happen to rent from the same landlord. All are forced out of their confort zones when a recluse neighbor inexplicably commits suicide, leading to relationship confrontations, exposed secrets and bold, subversive actions! AIRED OUT holds up an unflattering mirror to our disconnected society; Can we now face it? The play contains strong language and mature themes. Not recommended for children below the age of 15.
