Students will investigate factors that contribute to some of the effects of climate change. Activities include: The Greenhouse Effect, Acidic Oceans, and measuring carbon dioxide levels. This is followed by a discussion of the difference between weather and climate with an interactive show designed to encourage students to think like scientists. During the session, students make predictions and observations during eye-catching demonstrations involving air, water and liquid nitrogen. Students will then use hot melt glue guns to make their own anemometer. This course is suitable for Year 5 to 6 Students. Details of this event may be subject to change.
