You work tirelessly to communicate your mission but your website may be obstructing your message. By participating in the 10th Annual Accessibility Internet Rally for Austin (AIR-Austin) you can ensure that access for everyone - including people with disabilities, is granted on your website.

AIR-Austin is an award winning program developed by the nonprofit organization, Knowbility, whose mission it is to support the independence of children and adults with disabilities by promoting the use and improving the availability of accessible information technology - barrier free IT! Please learn more about Knowbility at, http://www.knowbility.org.

AIR-Austin provides training on accessibility to the web professionals and the nonprofits. After which the web development teams are matched with a nonprofit to begin a 10-day planning period. On October 13th the teams and their nonprofit "clients" will assemble for a high-energy work day to finalize the accessible web sites. An expert panel of judges reviews the resulting entries and determines winners, who are recognized at a high-profile awards party.

Your small $100 fee offers you:
• A website or website component developed by a team featuring Austin’s best web professionals.
• Members from your organization will be trained on accessibility standards and basic maintenance of your site.
• Winners of the AIR-Austin event receive public recognition and a trophy at a high profile awards ceremony

The registration deadline is September 1, 2007. Find more information, register, or contact us today at, http://www.knowbility.org/air-austin
