AIMS Super Saturdays #5 October 5, 2007

AIMS invites you to join us at the AIMS Super Saturdays #5 – OCTOBER in Downtown Anderson …last one for the 2007 Season!!!

The next Super Saturdays will take place Saturday, OCTOBER 6, 2007. AIMS began the AIMS SUPER SATURDAYS series in Downtown Anderson in June 2007, and continued every 1st Saturday. This is the last one for the 2007 season.



The day will begin @ 9:00 am with a Farmer’s Market and continue with a variety of Vendors and Entertainment on the stage…all day. There will be a Car Show and a DJ at 5:00pm and a Free Concert beginning at 8:00pm. Bring your lawn chairs, listen to the entertainment, shop, and visit, see all of the cars, trucks and motorcycles, and enjoy beautiful downtown Anderson !! There will be plenty of fun, food, children’s activities and entertainment in the Anderson Town Center and along Meridian Street throughout the day.



Vendors 10-5+pm & Farmer’s Market 9-11am: “More Produce”!! Ousley’s Harvest Gardens and Randy Marsh with two trucks of produce will be on hand. New vendors with gourds, freezer beef and herbs have also been known to attend! Vendors will have a variety of ‘home-grown’ items ranging from melons, tomatoes, sweet corn, cantaloupe, etc. for the community to purchase.



AIMS has over 30 vendors again in October that will begin selling their goods by 10:00 am and proceed until at least 5:00 pm, some maybe longer. There will be a variety of vendors ranging from artists, businesses, health, foods, retail, crafts, and business recruitment booth, etc.



Entertainment & Activities, throughout the day:

§ Free Concert, LJ Mechem Band, 9-11am, Wake up Band

§ Redhouse Art Display, 10-5pm, Enjoy the wonderful works of several individuals, handmade items, hosted by Redhouse.

§ Madison County Volunteer Recognition, 12:00 – 1:00pm

§ East Side Church of God, 1:30-2:30pm Enjoy music and drama skits

§ Free Concert, PK and the Big Woods Band, 3-5pm FREE CONCERT featuring classic rock, etc. on Town Center Stage
§ EarthWorks Pottery, will be having demonstrations on the pottery wheel throughout the day!!!

§ Car Show, & DG the DJ or Chris the Crazy White Boy, 5-8pm will be hosting the Car Show. Awards and dash plaques available for registered custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. Dash plaques will be distributed to the first registered cars/trucks/ cycles. Top awards for registered custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. Car Show Registration -$5.00 (entry fee for cars to be judged for Awards), 50/50 drawings…

§ Free Concert, RUBIX: 8-11pm featuring RUBIX, playing classic rock music. Enjoy the FREE CONCERT at the Anderson Town Center Stage to conclude the evening under the stars at the Super Saturday for the whole family.
