AIGA SF Fall Gala: "The Afterlife, Paper, purgatory and the great beyond" November 15, 2007

Join AIGA San Francisco for our biggest event of the year, a heavenly night of food drinks and music to celebrate the creative unwasting of paper.

Help rescue paper from recycling limbo with a benefit auction of post-consumer paper apparel and objets d’art by some of the Bay Area’s great designers. We’ll also have a runway show, a DJ and lots of giveaways from our industry sponsors. Submit an art object to the Silent Auction.

Please add artwork to your printed invite and bring it to the event to add it to our Heaven or Hell Houses of Cards. The first 100 people to bring in their designed cards will receive one free drink upon entry.

This event is Green in more ways than one!

Instead of plastic trays, we're using compostable plates, napkins and cutlery made from corn and paper. All trash from the event will be composted!

Our event caterer, Greenleaf Platters, will not only be contributing their green touch to all of the fresh, organic appetizers you'll sample. They compost all of their food scraps, recycle all plastic, cans and cardboard that come through their kitchen and use low energy appliances and low flow water sprayers. Greenleaf Platters is a certified green business in Alameda County.
