Some masks are worn by children while they plead for candy on Halloween. Some wear masks to obscure their identity while they party on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras. And others wear masks as they cut the ropes holding up a chandelier in the hope of securing an opera singer's love and attention.

Join AIGA San Francisco as we celebrate design, mystery and fun with our Fall Gala: Mask Appeal. The Gala will feature custom-designed masks for auction. Guests are requested to wear a mask or create one during the event.

The Gala will be hosted at The Forum at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and will feature:
- Silent auction of masks created by local, notable designers
- Art tables for attendees to create a mask
- Photo booth by Rob Villanueva
- Raffle for prizes ranging from posters to a copy of Adobe CS5.5
- Hosted soda, wine and beer (21 and over)
- Food from Whole Foods SoMa
