On May 21, AIGA Miami presents the “Never Sleep: Graduating to Graphic Design”. For the this event, award winning design duo G. Dan Covert and Andre Andreev, of Dress Code will discuss their new book “NEVER SLEEP: Graduating to Graphic Design.”

There is a major disconnect between the life of a design student and the transition to being a design professional. To demystify this transition, they will share the failures, successes and surprises from their years in college to starting our own studio dress code. Never sleep includes what they learned about self-promotion, interview, internships, monetary problems, personal relationships, prison time, first jobs and the all around hustle of making it happen.

The event is FREE and open to the public. AIGA invites anyone curious about creativity to be part of the conversation, especially students and those new to the industry looking for insight from award-winning professionals.
