About Cafe Mestizo:

Café Mestizo opened its doors in the spring of 2003. The mission was to create a place where art, poetry, and music could come together over a great cup of coffee--the ultimate vision was a Cultural Urban Coffee House.

Great care has been taken so that a visit to Café Mestizo is more than just a cup of coffee. Since its inception, several musical artists have inaugurated the stage, poets have shared their work and its walls have exhibited the art of local and international artist.

Cafe Mestizo has a wonderful menu, including vegetarian selections such as veggie pita, veggie burger as well as traditional foods such as tamales oaxaquenos and flan. They have a great selection of coffee, tea and cocoa drinks.
