This October Agora Gallery gives center stage to a stunning selection of artistic talent:
In Gallery I three collective exhibitions; Beyond Borders: an Exhibition of Fine Art from Canada, Degrees of Abstraction and the Rhythm of Color. And in Gallery II; Bloom: TAMAR ROSEN, a solo exhibition.

In Beyond Borders, innovative and stunning works span the range of artistic expression. Each artist imparts a little piece of their Canadian spirit to their individual style. Degrees of Abstraction is a poignant portrayal of visual dissonance and harmony transmitted through complex composition and transcendent design. The Rhythm of Color displays the expressive central role that an artist’s palette plays in the creation of a painting.

Tamara Rosen’s exquisite paintings hearken back to the idea of the artist as a naturalist. She has an incredible sense for texture and how it varies depending on lighting conditions. Rosen’s brushwork infuses subjects with an elemental rhythm that comes alive with energy. Gradations of color provide a nearly sculptural influence to each work; whether it be the scales of a fish or the petals of a flower, these minute variations lend an air of realism to a style that often approaches Impressionism.
