Aga Khan Foundation-Partnership Walk 2009 September 27, 2009

‘A Better World is Within Walking Distance’.
On Sunday September 27, 2009 The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) USA is organizing a Golden Gate Bridge walk in San Francisco, starting point at Crissy Field at 9 am. The AKF USA will be holding fund-raising walks in 9 cities around the country between September and November this year. 100% of funds raised at these walks go directly to projects to help end global poverty and provide for basic education and healthcare in the poorest parts of the world. In 2008, over 31,000 people across America participated in 22 PartnershipsINAction events raising over $4 million to show their commitment for ending global poverty.
