Conservative, paranoid Mark buys a flat with an old 1980s nuclear fallout shelter in the back yard. Predictably, he’s ribbed mercilessly by his friends for it. Unpredictably, the nuclear apocalypse occurs. When the radioactive dust settles, all that’s left is Mark and his attractive, gregarious compatriot Louise, huddled together inside his object of ridicule. This poignant dark comedy chronicles their attempt to get on in a world that’s been reduced to the size of a 10 foot cube.
