Adobe After Effects is the industry standard for many of the processes involved in the creation of digital animation, motion graphics and video production. This course aims to provide a solid grounding in After Effects, detailing the key concepts required to give you confidence to employ After Effects as a regular part of your workflow.

Topics covered in this course -

Understanding the interface and managing your workspace
Importing files and integration with other applications
Animation and keyframe assistants
Compositing and grouping layers
Basic Effects and transitions
Text and Paint
Basic 3D
Rendering and Output options

Applicants should be familiar with the basic functions of their computer's operating system. No working knowledge of After Effects is necessary, although participants typically have experience using video editing and image manipulation applications.

After completing the course participants are given extensive notes detailing the topics covered in this course, as well as listing After Effects resources and reference material.
