As a pioneer of the 1970s Feminist Art movement, artist, author and educator, Judy Chicago pressed for an enlarged definition of art that offered increased involvement and freedom of expression for women. Chicago’s lecture will address the role of feminism in the artistic process while expanding upon its transforming methodology that remains so vital to today’s world.
