Afrobeat Dance Party with Elikeh October 9, 2010

Elikeh brought the house down at The Patterson in June. Led by Massama Dogo’s Fela Kuti Afrobeat drive, Elikeh is taking off in the world music scene, having received acclaim from NPR’s Fresh Air, The Washington Post, and Inside World Music, who calls them “new, refreshing and distinct.” The Baltimore Somali refugee duo The Shambara Boyz open.
