Join us for a dynamic and joyous concert! You won't be disappointed by the high energy, West African music that Baba Ken Okulolo and the Nigerian Brothers are known for. These Bay area musicians blend Western and African instruments to make their lively 'Highlife' music. Dressed in traditional colorful clothing, this band is as much fun to watch as they are to hear.

"We learn these songs from our immediate and extended family members," says Okulolu. "We feel on top of the world each time we make other people feel happy."

African Folk Songs is part of the On the Town Outdoor Summer Concert Series, a line-up of six fabulous concerts throughout the summer that take place in our beautiful Jessica L. Saal Town Square. Bring your lawn chair and a picnic basket for you and your family and purchase delicious treats from Flying Falafel while you're there. Come to one or all -- they're all free!
