African Drumming - Drum Circle and Lessons February 15, 2009

Through drum circle we achieve Brainwave synchronization or "brainwave entrainment," which is a naturally occurring phenomenon where the human brain has a tendency to change its dominant EEG frequency towards the frequency of a dominant external stimulus ~ drumming! Entrainment can increase your IQ, focus, concentration, memory, relaxation and wellbeing. Come join us for a 2 hour class on the third Sunday of every month. We will learn a new African Rhythm on a Djembe drum during the first hour and jam out together during the second hour. This is an instructional, hands on, beginner/intermediate group....loads of energy, a great space, lots of fun and wonderful rhythms. $10 Drums available for use and for sale.
