African Art in Context October 1, 2010

Through multimedia, reconstructed environments the exhibition will show how traditional African objects that were used in ceremonies, rituals and in everday life in Africa and that are now in Western collections would have appeared and been used in their original African setting. 'African Art in Context' highlights significant ceremonies and rituals marking life transitions.
