Conducted by the Afro-American Historical Association of the Niagara Frontier, Inc., in collaboration with Forest Lawn, these 1.5-hour air-conditioned trolley tours explore Western New York's African American heritage. Visit the graves of notable African Americans such as Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm; Dr. J. Edward Nash; Rick James; Charles Fuqua; Frank E. Merriweather, Jr.; Grover Washington and more (you'll even meet a few of them along the way!) and visit the GAR lot to see the plaque dedicated to the 14 African American Civil War soldiers interred at Forest Lawn.
