March will definitely go out like a lion as the world’s largest active and adventure travel show – the Adventures in Travel Expo (ATE) – takes DC by storm the weekend of March 29 & 30. ATE gathers hundreds of captivating destinations from exotic Tahiti to the culturally-rich Nicaragua and Turkey to beautiful Bermuda and Maui to drivable destinations like Philadelphia and the South Carolina lowlands. ATE also features exciting activities: a huge scuba pool, new “Maryland my Maryland Pavilion,” cultural performers and much more. ATE is THE place to kick off the winter blahs and step into the vacation of a lifetime.
