Adventures in Candyland, Original Story Ballet May 30, 2009

Dance Moves Performing Arts Center will perform an original, full-story ballet called “Adventures in Candyland”. Laura McClanahan, owner and artistic director at Dance Moves, wrote and choreographed the entire ballet, incorporating dancers from the pre-ballet level through the senior level. This ballet promises to be full of sweet surprises and artistic drama as characters from Candyland are brought to life. From the Chocolate Fairy to bubble gum, taffy, lollipops and peeps, this is a ballet you won’t want to miss. “Adventures in Candyland” will be performed at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30 and at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday May 31 at the Century College Theater in White Bear Lake. Tickets can be purchased in advance from May 4-15 for $13.00 per person at Dance Moves or by contacting Laura McClanahan at [email protected]. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the performances for $15.00 each.
