Advanced Reporting Services training course January 22, 2013

Mastered the basics of SQL Server Reporting Services or Report Builder? Maybe now is the time to stretch your wings, and learn just how powerful this report writing application can be. Our two-day advanced SSRS course covers 4 main topics:

• Incorporating code within your reports (whether by accessing existing Microsoft functions or by creating your own using Visual Basic or C#);


• Working with parameters in their many guises, particularly variations on dropdown lists;
• improving document navigation, using document maps, bookmarks and drill-through reports; and


• Using stored procedures as a source of data for reports, and the possibilities this creates.

The course will use SSRS 2012 software (Data Tools within Visual Studio 2012) for editing reports, but this is virtually identical to SQL Server BIDS in Reporting Services 2008 (we've only found one difference so far).
