Advanced Learning Design provides an in-depth look at designing for sustainable learning. Building on the Principles and Practices of Dialogue Education™ introduced in Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach, this 3-day course delves more deeply into the technical aspects of curriculum design, communication, and learning styles.
Participants bring real learning designs which become the center of this course as they are analyzed, dissected, reconstructed and shared with other course participants for feedback. This rigorous process leads to increased knowledge, skills and confidence in designing learner-centered curricula and program initiatives. Participants will benefit from reflecting on the designs of other Dialogue Education™ practitioners, gain a deeper understanding of the way adults learn, and will become more proficient in applying the proven Principles and Practices that make learning more participatory, accountable and engaging.

This course is for graduates of Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach, and is also the second step in the GLP Certified Dialogue Education™ Practitioner (CDEP) Series.
