This advanced workshop is for level 6 and alumni students who want to sharpen their game with one of the best there is. Pat's workshop will encompass the physicality of a scene, character development, and breaking down the idea of scene building.

Pat Finn grew up in Wilmette, Illinois and is one of six children. He attended high school at Loyola Academy in Wilmette and graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1987. After graduation, he moved to Chicago where he worked as a beer salesman until joining the Second City National Touring Company. During this time, he was also studying and performing improvisation with Del Close and Charna Halpern at the IO (formally ImprovOlympic) in Chicago. After writing and performing in two Second City resident shows, Pat landed the part of George Wendt's younger brother in "The George Wendt Show" and moved to Los Angeles. Pat has had re-occuring television roles on "Murphy Brown," "Third Rock From the Sun", "My Boys", "Unhitched" and "Ed". His other television credits include "Friends", "Seinfeld", "The Drew Cary Show", "That 70's Show", "According to Jim", "Bernie Mac" and "Las Vegas" just to name a few. He can also be seen in the feature films "I Love You Beth Cooper", "Dude, Where's My Car", "The Bachelor", "Space Buddies", "How High", "Unconditional Love" and "Funky Monkey" as well as several independent films. Pat has also enjoyed commercial success with campaigns for "Bell South", "Toyota", "Healthy Choice", "Got Milk?", "Sony Playstation", "DiGiorno Pizza", "Holiday Inn", "H&R Block" and dozens of others.

Pat continues to perform improv frequently at the IO West in Los Angeles. His critically acclaimed ensemble show, "BeerSharkMice" was voted Improv Group of the Year at the Chicago Improv Festival. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
