Adult Group Sailing
Classes Session 1 Monday and Tuesday

Monday and Tuesday class times: 6 p.m.
to 9 p.m.
Monday: June 1, 8, 15, 22
Tuesday: June 2, 9, 16, 23

This class is perfect for the
beginner who wants to learn in a group setting orforthose
whowant to brush up on their
skills. Instructors teach basic sailing and boat handling.Class sizes are small,allowingfor more one-on-one instructionand ample practice time to sharpen
skills. Classes must reach 3 adults or class will be canceled with a full refund.
Important Requirements

Each student must have a
U.S.Coast Guard approved type III life jacket; rubber-soled, closed-toe
shoes; sunscreen, and a water bottle. Also, students must be able to swim 50
yards. If you need assistance in knowing what sailing equipment to buy or where
to buy it, please call theSailing School, we are happy to help.Medical
andwaiver forms must be signed prior to the start of classes.

For more than 50 years, Sheridan Shore Sailing School has been proud to offer students a chance to experience the thrill, challenge and exhilaration of sailing. Our courses help instill the skills of sailing and seamanship to juniors, high school students and adults of all ability levels. Classes are led by certified U.S. Sailing Association instructors and feature a low student to instructor ratio. We offer a variety of courses designed to match differing interests, abilities and ages. The Sailing School uses the facilities of Sheridan Shore Yacht Club which is located in Wilmette Harbor. The Sailing School is a 501 c (3) not-for-profit organization and is open to the community.
