Adoption & Foster Care: Myths and Realities June 7, 2008

In the Children's Praise Center, Christ Church Plano (4550 Legacy Dr.) will host an interactive discussion entitled Adoption & Foster Care: Myths and Realities. Amy and Michael Monroe, leaders of Irving Bible Church's Adoption and Foster Care Ministry, Tapestry, will discuss many of the common myths relating to adoption and foster care, and contrast them with the honest realities that they have learned through their personal journey. There will be an opportunity to ask and discuss questions relating to adoption and foster care. This event is designed to be particularly valuable for those who are just beginning to consider adopting or fostering, as well as for those who still have difficult, unanswered questions about the adoption or foster care process.
