Adopting the Older Child April 4, 2009

On Saturday, April 4, at 6:30 pm, Tapestry will host an event specifically designed for those who are considering adopting or have recently adopted an older child. Older child adoption often comes with its own unique set of joys and challenges, and during this event we will explore both. By helping parents and parents-to-be better understand what to expect, how to respond and where to turn for support and help, this event will be relevant for anyone impacted by older child adoption. This event will be led by Paula St. John, from the Gladney Center, together with Michael and Amy Monroe and Darren and Cheryl Macdonald.

Childcare is available for this event for ages 0-12 with registration at least 48 hours in advance. Be sure to indicate the name and date of the event you are registering for, the name and date of birth (month, date and year) for each child, any allergies or special instructions and your phone number (the last four digits of your phone number will be used at childcare check-in).
