Thomas Ades is one of the UK's most exciting composers, and Southbank Centre has commissioned his first work with video. Young Israeli video artist Tal Rosner's kaleidoscope of architectural images is created from two iconic buildings - the newly completed Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles and the Royal Festival Hall during its renovation. It is coupled with Steve Reich's landmark Music for 18 Musicians (1974) with its pulsing rhythms and shimmering textures.
