English soul and jazz singer Adele topped the UK album charts in 2008 with her debut album, '19' featuring the singles 'Hometown Glory,' 'Chasing Pavements,' and 'Cold Shoulder.' Adele graduated from the BRIT School in Croydon in May 2006; the same performing arts school attended by such perfomers as Amy Winehouse, Katie Melua, Leona Lewis and Kate Nash. Her current release, '21,' debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
