From Florida Ave to Columbia Rd NW
Washington, D.C., District of Columbia 20009

Regional visitors and city-dwellers flock to this popular cultural festival-- always the 2nd Sunday in September --an outgrowth of Adams Morgan's international character and creativity. This unique event is considered both hip for the young and fun for families. Hear great live music on 2 stages, and sample international foods from around the world. Enjoy fall fun, sidewalk cafes, colorful vendors, and cultural demonstrations and dances. The expanded Kid's Fair has games, interactive science exhibits (in English & Spanish) clowns, and the Chinese Lion Dancers. "Arts on Belmont," a shaded residential block full of original artisans of all types & styles, is always a favorite. New in 2005 and an immediate hit, was the Dance Plaza--- with dance performances & workshops on rumba, Mexican folk, Bolivian & salsa! Explore international cultures---away from the Mall and stadiums---in the context of this ethnic and eclectic neighborhood. Organized by AdamsMorgan MainStreet Group, this nationally known street Festival has something for everyone! Come experience Adams Morgan--its murals and flair!! Sunday, Sept 10, 2006 Noon - 7:00 p.m. 'Arts on Belmont' opens 10:00 am. Kids Fair and Dance Plaza located at Marie Reed School (18th St at Wyoming) Free of charge.
