An exciting, all-new art and design show for Boston will debut in Spring, 2008 when Fusco & Four, producers of the Boston International Fine Art Show (BIFAS), present AD 20/21: Art & Design of the 20th & 21st Centuries. The show takes place April 3-6, 2008 at The Cyclorama, Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street in Boston’s South End.

With approximately 40 galleries and design exhibitors of the highest quality from the United States and Europe, the show will include major decorative arts movements such as Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Scandinavian Design, and Mid-Century Modern side by side with 21st century design. The show will feature furniture, glass, ceramics, decorative arts and both fine and collectible costume jewelry, as well as a stunning array of paintings, sculpture, prints, and photography from the last 108 years.

The fair opens with a Gala Preview to benefit the Boston Architectural College on Thursday, April 3 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. The BAC, New England's largest independent, accredited college of spatial design, offers programs in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, design studies, and more. Weekend show hours are: Friday 1-9, Saturday 11-8, and Sunday 11-5. Admission at the door is $15 (under 12 free), and includes a complimentary 80-page catalog, coat check, special guest speakers, and re-admission throughout the weekend. Friday evening from 5:00pm to 9:00pm will be “New Collectors’ Night”, with programs designed to introduce new collectors to the world of 20th and 21st century design.

On Sunday, April 6th at 12:30pm, Boston Architectural College will present it’s 16th Annual Cascieri Lectureship in the Humanities, with guest speaker Christy MacLear, Executive Director of the Phillip Johnson Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. The program, which is free, will be presented in the Roberts Studio Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts, adjacent to the Cyclorama in the Calderwood Pavilion. Other guest speakers to be announced.
