ACTIVE DUTY SAILOR AGAINST THE IRAQ WAR TO SPEAK AT
ALLEGHENY COLLEGE and MARCH IN MEADVILLE VETERANS DAY
PARADE

Jonathan Hutto, 29, is active duty Navy assigned to Norfolk based
aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt. Supported by antiwar military
family and veterans organizations, Hutto and several other service
members created a Web site called Appeal for Redress. Through this Web
site active duty and reserve troops may e-mail their elected
representatives in Congress for US withdrawal from Iraq. Over 2000 have
done so during the last year. Hutto is allowed by military rules to run
his antiwar campaign on personal time, out of uniform and off base.

So on Saturday November 10, 2007 at 7:30 pm Hutto, at the invitation of
the Allegheny College Peace Coalition, will be on his personal time, out
of uniform, and off base at Allegheny College at Henderson Auditorium,
room 101. The college community and the public are invited. See more
