Are you interested in local solutions to global environmental problems? Want to connect with other Albertans to work towards environmental sustainability? Or are you concerned about the environment but don’t know what do about it?

We invite you to getACTV.ca

ACTV (Active Citizens Television) is an Alberta-based, not-for-profit and youth-driven, new-media initiative aimed to educate, motivate, and activate Albertans to discover and pursue sustainable living practices and promote ecological consciousness. We are launching our website, www.getACTV.ca, and first season of webisodes on Friday, September 12th at Latitude 53. The party will incorporate several environmental initiatives, organisations, and solutions that we have highlighted in the first season. With local foods, drinks, and musicians, we will celebrate our youth interns who have taken the lead in production and the other organisations, businesses and people we have partnered with to educate and inspire other Albertans to truly become Active Citizens.
