“Elements of classical music, dance, and immersive dramatic theater with the aesthetics and attitude of the contemporary nightclub.”
-Boston Globe.

AcousticaElectronica makes its New York debut at Le Poisson Rouge, after it’s smash success at Boston’s OBERON, the theatre-club of the American Repertory Theatre, with a unprecedented level of music and spectacle that blends the virtuosity found in the classical concert hall with the infectious energy of the late-night dance club. The best of both worlds: artistic depth and irresistible appeal. It is sexy and classy, sensuous and stoic, irreverent and reverential.

AcousticaElectronica presents some of the most innovative music from well-established and hot up-and-coming producers and composers. Bach meets a dance club back-beat, Carmen’s habanera meets techno, and Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata blends with trance for a listening experience unlike anything you have ever heard before.

Live Musicians perform with The WIG, a classically trained, New York based DJ. Professional dancers reinvent the typical "go-go" dancer, blending ballet, jazz, modern and improvised movement.
This ultimate dance party becomes an immersive experience for the audience. Dancers, symphonies, operas, ballets, and live musicians all happen around every inch of the space to keep the audience guessing at every turn. A classical world becomes the technicolor world of the dance club as the audience escapes from their real lives to experience a night of dream, abandon, and ecstasy…
