The ACLU-WWU (American Civil Liberties Union of WWU) will be presenting an event surrounding the issue of Network Neutrality, the principle that prevents Internet Providers from discriminating against content based on its ownership or source. The event will take place in just a few short weeks on February 27, 2007 at 7:00pm in Communications 125. Christina Drummond from ACLU Washington will be speaking about this crucial issue and dire implications of a restricted Internet to democracy and freedom of expression.

If you would like to know more about the event or the issue of net
neutrality feel free to contact me, visit our facebook group “I support
Network Neutrality (and so should you),” or access the myriad online
resources (such as on ACLU’s website: www.aclu.org/freethenet).
