It’s that time of year again- the time when Pier 39 explodes with tulips- tulips of every color and variety will be on display for days. The best part is that they offer landscaping tours every day during Tulipmania. At 1pm we’ll tour through the 39,000 tulips, the whimsical topiaries and flower beds, gaining gardening tips from the experts.

Mostly, though, it would be fun to go check out the Aquarium of the Bay and see all the wondrous sea creatures through 300-feet of crystal clear tunnels surrounded by sharks, eels, octopus and thousands of marine animals indigenous to its waters. Our journey through the aquarium will be in four parts:

Discover the Bay- learn about the environment of the Bay and meet an expert naturalist who will answer any of our questions about the aquatic life

Under the Bay- go through two crystal clear tunnels surrounded by water and more than 23,000 aquatic animals exploring both the near-shore habitat and then the deep-sea life

Touch the Bay- explore the "touch pools" where we can touch some of the touchable tide-pool animals

Save the Bay- this is where they tell us how we can help preserve these precious creatures.

10:15- We’ll have a No-Host carpool leaving from the Sports Page in Mtn. View.
