Classified as a moderate hike because of just a bit of incline on the stretch back, this otherwise easy, beautiful 3.6 mile hike is perfect for a sunny day and a picnic!!!

We might see pink-flowering currant, thimbleberry, huckleberry, honeysuckle, madrone, and tanoak. ..(trees). Through some breaks in the trees, and, on a clear day the view stretches north all the way to Mount Tamalpais. (Now this I gotta see!)

This is a Fat Sunday hike so we're not racing. It will be a nice 'smell the roses' pace. A social picnic/hike in other words.

BRING: A lunch, sturdy walking shoes, plenty of water, layered clothing, sunglasses, sunblock.

There are no parking or entrance fees. No restrooms or drinking water. We'll meet at Page Mill/280 Park & Ride, and carpool down the road to the starting point of the hike. There's limited parking there.
