Acclaimed author and social commentator Hal Niedzviecki reads from his new book, Look Down, This Is Where It Must Have Happened October 23, 2011

City Lights Bookstore & Joyland: A Hub for Short Fiction welcomes Hal Niedzviecki reading from his new book Look Down, This Is Where It Must Have Happened, published by City Lights. Joining Niedzviecki at his only Bay Area appearance are Meg Pokrass, author of Damn Sure Right (Press 53) & Lizzy Acker, author Monster Party (Small Desk Press). Event hosted by Kara Levy of Joyland. This is Hal Niedzviecki’s first book since 2009’s The Peep Diaries. Here, Niedzviecki’s penetrating cultural observations become breathtaking fiction. In this book of stories, Niedzviecki explores the meaning and consequences of what he has dubbed "Peep Culture through fictional portraits of people desperately trying to navigate the new possibilities of online voyeurism."
