Access Cafe’ -a Community Brunch

The Access Café is a donation and participation-based restaurant. We do not have fixed menu prices. Patrons donate what they can or think the meal was worth. Larger donations will help cover those who offer smaller contributions. Contributions can also be non-monetary: Patrons can volunteer to cook, clean, serve, etc. We aspire to: make healthy food and social space accessible to all, regardless of one’s ability to pay; bolster wellness in people, relationships and communities by creating an atmosphere of nourishment, sharing and trust; build community by encouraging participation in the project: working together, eating together, playing together; experiment with social and economic architecture; foster a gift-economy; de-isolate disparate social classes; educate our community on basic nutrition, focusing on plant-based and whole foods."
