Accepting jazz instrumentalists to join our Honors Orchestras of Youth Music Monterey March 3, 2010

Now accepting jazz instrumentalists to join our Honors Orchestras of Youth Music Monterey for our Spring concert on Sunday, May 2, 2010. Specifically, we are looking for talented musicians playing saxophone, brass and percussion instruments. The orchestra will be performing Gershwin’s symphonic orchestra piece “An American in Paris” which includes these instruments. Auditions will be held on the first rehearsal on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Monterey High School Band Room located at 700 Pacific Street in Monterey from 6:15 pm-6:45 pm. The cost is a $50 deposit to secure an audition and $100 tuition towards participating in the rehearsals and concert.
