Come and Celebrate a Night of Dancing

Who needs Dancing with the Stars when Atlanta has its very own ballroom event of the year? On Saturday evening, August 15, 2009 from 8:00 p.m. to midnight Academy Ballroom Cumberland will be celebrating its 2nd anniversary that no one will forget. The studio will be celebrating two years of wonderful dancing, great instructors and students, who enjoy dancing, fitness and fun. This anniversary will be a star-studded evening of dancing, performances, surprises, door prizes and the celebration of Academy Ballroom Cumberland dancing. In today’s economy this new studio has grown from concept into a thriving dance studio.

Academy Ballroom Cumberland will have performances that no one would want to be left outside in the Atlanta heat because the studio will have its own heat on the dance floor. The evening will feature many of Atlanta’s top dancer instructors, title holders (both past and present), studio instructors and a few surprises. There will be several great door prizes and future dance opportunities given out during the course of the evening. Hors d'oeuvres, liquid refreshment and an anniversary cake to add to the overall fun of the soiree.

If you want to see & experience the glamour, the drama and the glitz of ballroom dancing, if you want an excuse to get really dressed up, wear that gown or Tuxedo (the party is black tie optional) and spend time with great friends and dance enthusiasts, this is the soiree you will want to come and enjoy. This evening of dance and celebration is just not for dancers, but for those who love what dance does to their hearts and minds. You do not have to be a dancer to enjoy the wonderful floor show and activities that will be taking place.

Tickets are $25 per person for general admission, a bench seat or $125 for table of 4 people. Tables include your choice of a bottle of red or white wine or champagne. We can combine 2 couples to complete a table. Reservations are requested but tickets will be available at the door.
