Sophia Romma has adapted the 1983 drama, 'Love's Riddle: She, In the Absence of Love and Death' by Russian playwright Edvard Radzinsky, into a new "jazzy" play, 'Absolute Clarity.' Radzinsky's play is re-set from Moscow to a tenement building on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. A young women poet named Clare seeks her lost father and tackles the overwhelming shades of adulthood for the first time. A Marie Ache singer named Tita learns the limitations of being street-wise. Both fall for a bandleader who is a thief.
