Ableton Live: 1 to 1 Studio Course. April 9, 2013

A whole new course at Band on the Wall for entry level to intermediate users of Ableton Live the music software package for composition, songwriting, recording, production, beatmaking, remixing and live performance.

Whether you are completely new to the world of computer music, or are looking to take that next step towards professional output - these one-to-one sessions with Producer / DJ Mike Richardson, are an ideal opportunity to receive professional and personalised assistance, using Ableton Live.

Each session will respond to individual needs but cover all aspects of Ableton. Bring along your own laptop with your own material to work on or create something new on the equipment in the state of the art sound recording studio at Band on the Wall.

Tutor Mike Richardson has been involved in the music business for approaching a decade now, working as both a sound engineer & event manager, more recently concentrating on DJing and production. He has risen quickly through the ranks, releasing music and taking in club and festival gigs all over the UK. 
With an eclectic taste, Mike brings together house, techno, electro, garage and even drum & bass, in ways that are sometimes surprising... but always ...bang on the money.

Mike has also released music on Retweak Records, and 3am Recordings and is currently developing a live set and a stack full of new tracks which he will roll out over the coming months. 
Having just got back from a tour of Thailand and with another to the US on the horizon, this year looks set to be his best yet.
