After 5 years touring in the band Rude Buddha on the cult hit "Miss California", which included back to back DC 101 Chili Cook-offs in '05 and '06, and deals in the States and Japan, front man Aaron Crawford needed some "musical soul searching". In his quest for truth, he formed Aaron Crawford & The Badcards and after a short residency at the Viper Room in Los Angeles Ca, he hit the studio and recorded his first solo effort "The Wager"! "The Wager" featuring Joel Shearer (Alanis Morrisette), Adam Macdougal (The Black Crowes) and Larry Ciancia (Everlast, Ban Taylor) as well as a co-write by Joshua Lopez who took home Grammy honors for his work on "American Boy" for Estelle in '09, is sure to be a buzz worthy album in the upcoming year! Be at Jammin Java Thursday Feb 2nd for an opportunity to get a copy before its release! This is a show you don't want to miss!!

Nate Ihara blends a variety of influences together combining the echoes of The Police's hooky vocal melodies with Elvis Costello's angst-ridden but lighthearted tongue-in-cheek lyrics. A strong, sincere voice, electric guitars, and old 80's analog synthesizers flavor his songs with thematic melody lines. Together, they create a clever and timeless Indie/Pop Rock sound that is all his own. Ihara has been writing and recording in Washington, D.C. as well as the Los Angeles, CA. area since 2002. He has had music featured in several nationally released films and motion picture soundtracks as well as in Aaron Spelling television programs. Nate has also toured a majority of the U.S, and his songs have had airplay on several major FM, Internet, and satellite radio stations. Ihara has had the privilege of sharing the stage with the likes of Kings of Leon, Soul Asylum, and 311 as well as many other national acts. Nate's live; solo acoustic performances are energetic and entertaining.

We Were Kings was formed in 2010. Three years in the making frontman Nate Ihara has pieced together his solo turned group effort with songs, band members, and producers one by one. Ihara formerly fronted the now defunct D.C. based band Welbilt before picking up the bass guitar for The Blackjacks, another popular band from the area currently by way of Nashville, TN.

An evolution of the project All Five Seasons, A Raven On The Rosary takes some of the sounds of that band and mixes it with hair metal and classic rock, breathing new life into a music scene consumed by cliche and standards. Their 5 song, self-released EP, titled Soundcheck To The End Of The World, came out in early November, 2011, and they look forward to recording a full length album in 2012.
