Burgemeester van Alphenstraat 108
Zandvoort, Noord-Holland 2041 KP

Circuit Park Zandvoort will be the venue of the first race in the 2007/08 A1GP season from 28-30 September 2007, the second time it has played host to the opening race of the World Cup of Motorsport.

A sell-out 75,000 fans watched a thrilling meeting last season, with A1 Team South Africa and A1 Team Germany taking their maiden A1GP victories in the Sprint and Feature races respectively. The home crowd was kept entertained with a superb drive from Jeroen Bleekemolen. He led at one stage, but eventually secured fourth for A1 Team Netherlands.

Circuit Park Zandvoort has the reputation of being a drivers track, with the Tarzan corner at the end of the main straight being one of the most challenging, and particularly good for overtaking. With their low downforce and PowerBoost facility, this will be the focus of much of the overtaking for the A1GP Cars.

Situated less than 30km from Amsterdam and close to the North Sea Coastline, Zandvoort is also a popular tourist destination. More than 4.5 million visitors a year take advantage of the 9km stretch of beach, 35 pubs and 55 restaurants, making Zandvoort a great holiday destination as well as a great opportunity to see the A1GP cars in action.
