A Woman's Place Is on the Range May 8, 2007

In popular perceptions of the American West, the cowboy has stood as a dominant icon on the landscape. He roped, ranched and rodeo'd his way into history. However, women have worked alongside men, and even independently of them, doing the same things. 'A Woman's Place... Is On the Range' looks at the lives of women in ranching, the rodeo and cattle and livestock associations. There will also be a glimpse into "cowgirl" fashion and pop culture.
