A Woman's Place Is on the Range September 19, 2008

In popular perceptions of the American West, the cowboy has stood as a dominant icon on the landscape. He roped, ranched, and rodeo'd his way into history. However, women have worked alogside men, and even independently of them, doing the same things. 'A Woman's Place... Is On the Range' looks at the lives of women in ranching, the rodeo and cattle & livestock associations. There will also be a glimpse into "cowgirl" fashion and pop culture.
