Now the living heritage museum welcomes guests to take a trip into the past. Join Kathy Fisher, curator for Furnacetown, for a wonderful look at the history of iron works in Maryland during the 1700 and1800’s and gain a better understanding of the type of work that went on at the Iron Smelting Furnace once located on the property of The Elkridge Furnace Inn.
