A Walk Amongst the Trees April 20, 2012

Hike in the Presidio of San Francisco with Deborah Newbrun, Hazon’s Bay Area Director, a former National Park Service ranger, and author of Spirit in Nature: Teaching Judaism and Ecology on the Trail. Newbrun will draw connections between key Jewish values and the wonder of nature during this special off-site Museum program in conjunction with the exhibition Do Not Destroy: Trees, Art and Jewish Thought.

Co-presented with Hazon, America’s largest Jewish environmental organization, working to create healthy and sustainable communities in the Jewish world and beyond.
