A Thousand Feet, A Joyful Beat June 21, 2006

The Center for Multicultural Human Services, (CMHS) cordially requests the pleasure of your company at a very special event at the Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, Virginia. We invite you to a fun filled evening of international dance performances, dance instruction, and socializing with young professionals from the DC Metro Area. Performances will include hip-hop, flamenco, belly dancing, Indian dance, and much more. The emcee for the event will be Miss Ethiopia Jiitu Abraham (www.jiituabraham.com)

CMHS is a non-profit organization located in Northern Virginia that helps people from ethnically diverse backgrounds succeed by providing comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health and related services and by conducting research and training to make such services more widely available.

This evening features “A Thousand Feet, a Joyful Beat”. This is a worthwhile event that will raise funds in support of CMHS’s programs for children and their families who have been affected by war and other trauma and are struggling to rebuild their lives in the DC metropolitan area.

Tickets can be purchased for $25 each and all proceeds will go directly to support children and their families served by CMHS throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region.
